Is there a formal Membership Process?
No, right now there is not. The company has been dormant for a time, and so we are not yet instituting a formal membership or vetting process.
What is expected of members?
The company will promote the interests of members at events, scholas and online. We will support the Kingdom through gifts of largesse, appreciation and fundraising support.
What is the leadership structure?
Per the charter, the company must have one Master and five Keepers or Wardens. The initial leaders were appointed for one year with perpetual succession. They are called “The Masters and Keepers or Wardens and Community of the Mistery or Art of Stationery of the Kingdom of the East.”
Will there be Guild Rankings?
Yes, it is the intention to allow members to panel their work for feedback. Rubrics will take some time to put together.
Is all this Lorem ipsum text going to go away?
Yes! Once we get some traction and know what the most Frequently Asked Questions are, we will change it to Frequently Answered texts. 🙂

Is there a discussion list?
Yes! You can either click on Discussion Group from the menu up top, or if you prefer use the Google interface.
Who can join the Discussion Group?
Anyone is welcome to join the discussion group and make use of the website. East Kingdom subjects with a member account have already been vetted and may join easily using that account. Those wishing to engage on the list not using a member account or outside the Kingdom will need to indicate why they want to join and be moderated for a short time to ensure we don’t get spam.
How are decisions made?
The membership will vote upon the Master/Mistress and Wardens when a position becomes empty. If there is a tie, the Master/Mistress will have two votes which can be used to break the tie.
Where does Lorem Ipsum come from anyway?
The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero’s De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book. (That’s our story and we’re sticking to it!)
