One of the oldest binderies in London, this firm does binding, conservation and repair work and trains apprentices in partnership with several Royal organizations and guilds. The bindery will accept appointments and their professionals teach classes.

Their legacy includes producing one of the rarest books in the world, which sadly now lies at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean with the Titanic: a gold and 1050-jewel encrusted binding of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam.

Around the corner is the retail shop, which also sells online. If you want to quiver at the stunning papers and shout “take my money” then this is a place for you.
